Dispatch are sneaky. The defunct local band’s free concert at the Hatch Shell drew 110,000 people; its 2007 three night stand at New York City’s Madison Square Garden sold out in just minutes. All this for a group of guys who never had a major label record deal and was under the radar for most of the world.
Now, the band’s launched a new website featuring a clock counting down the seconds to the New Year. What could it all mean? Do we care? Chad Urmston post-Dispatch band, State Radio, is damn good, so do we really need the return of Dispatch?
